EMD’s previous cooperation with video and film artists has borne fruit: Mark Raidpere, who recently received the prestigious „Ars Fennica“ prize, created a special piece for the EMD 2008 edition called „Dedication“. The piece received international recognition after its success at Paris art galleries and has thus found its way into private collections. These achievements have encouraged - even obligated - us to continue what we’ve started! Among other works at in this year’s program, the piece „Liikumatuse dimensioon” ("Dimension of motionlessness"), born out of a collaboration between Tarvo Hanno Varres and Tatjana Kozlova, promises to be particularly interesting as it is the only one that will be performed live during the evening.
